]]> MODELS OF DURATION is a follow-up to 2017’s Solo Contra on International Anthem Recordings. This material was solidified during a year spent in ISSUE Project Room’s cavernous 22 Boerum Place in Brooklyn, then recorded with Randall Dunn at Circular Ruin Studios.

This record is entirely acoustic. There are no instrument preparations or added sounds. No overdubs. This is one contrabass clarinet. Randall and I set out to make an immersive listening experience – to be inside the instrument.

I ask that you experience this album on an optimum listening system. Listen loudly.
I would not recommend listening to this album if you are in a hurried state.
