<p>&#8220;Stay in This Heartbeat&#8221; is the second single from Stína Ágústsdóttir&#8217;s upcoming album, <em>Drown to Die a Little</em>, is out now. This is a song about those deep connections you sometimes make with other people. When it feels like magic and you just want it to last forever. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn’t. It can be meaningful in any case. In these difficult times, it feels like that’s what matters, human contact.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-spotify wp-block-embed-spotify wp-embed-aspect-21-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<iframe title="Spotify Embed: Stay in This Heartbeat" style="border-radius: 12px" width="100%" height="80" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen allow="autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture" src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/3JcnhwKD1NtrqhWbbI8Hav?si=1fa3c22b64b74892&#038;utm_source=oembed"></iframe>
</div></figure>

<p>The song is written by Stína and her friend and longtime collaborator Mikael Máni Ásmundsson who also arranged the strings. The line-up on the album features few of Iceland&#8217;s and Sweden&#8217;s key players in jazz and experimental music and they are Stína and Mikael Máni alongside Henrik Linder, Magnús Trygvason Elíassen and Magnús Jóhann Ragnarsson. The album was recorded and mixed by Albert Finnbogason (sóley, Blonde Redhead, Grísalappalísa etc.) at legendary Sigur Rós&#8217; Sundlaugin Studio.</p>

<p><em>Drown to Die a Little</em> is available for <a href="https://smekkleysa.net/shop/smekkleysa_cd/cds/stina-agustsdottir-drown-to-die-a-little/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>pre-order</strong></a> now via Smekkleysa and is released internationally by Prophone in Sweden.</p>

<p>Get yourself a <a href="https://www.harpa.is/stina-agustsdottir-drown-to-die-a-little-utgafutonleikar" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>ticket</strong></a> to their release show at Harpa on March 27th.</p>
