Það eru stórmerkilegir hlutir að fara að gerast í Hörpu næstkomandi þriðjudag.

Tónskáldið Lilja María Ásmundsdóttir og dansarinn Inês Zinho Pinheiro hafa unnið saman að ýmsum verkefnum síðan 2018. Síðastliðin tvö ár hafa þær skipst á myndböndum, hljóðbrotum og hugsunum tengdum innra lífi flytjandans. Úr hugmyndum þeirra varð til verkið Internal Human sem hefur þróast bæði sem sviðsverk og sem myndbandsinnsetning. Sviðsverkið verður frumsýnt í Hörpu þann 26. júlí kl. 20:00 í tilefni af útgáfu verksins. 

Sýningin hefst í Norðurbryggju og liggur leiðin síðan inn í Kaldalón. Verkið er innblásið af hljóðskúlptúr sem Lilja María smíðaði árið 2020. Skúlptúrinn var hannaður út frá hugmyndum um hvers konar hreyfingar myndast náttúrulega þegar leikið er á strengina. Lilja María spilar á skúlptúrinn og önnur hljóðfæri á meðan Inês yfirfærir hreyfingar hennar á mismunandi umhverfi sem varpað er inn í salinn. Teikningarnar og  arkítektúrinn sem finna má í myndvörpuninni voru valin út frá sjónrænum tengingum við hönnun skúlptúrsins. Formin í myndvörpuninni veita  Inês síðan innblástur til að þróa hreyfingarnar í nýjar áttir. 

Flutningurinn tekur um klukkustund og er án hlés.
Almennt miðaverð er kr. 2900 en skólafólk, eldri borgarar og öryrkjar fá 15% afslátt í miðasölu Hörpu.

Musician Lilja María Ásmundsdóttir and dancer Inês Zinho Pinheiro have been working together on various projects since 2018. For the past two years, they have been exchanging videos, sounds and thoughts connected to performing. Their ideas have developed into the piece Internal Human which exists both as a live performance and also as a video installation. The live performance will be premiered in Harpa on the 26th of July at 20:00 to celebrate the release of their audio-visual album. 

The performance starts in Norðurbryggja and then the journey leads to Kaldalón. The piece is inspired by Lilja María’s instrument, a large string sculpture she built in 2020. During the live performance, Lilja María explores movements that emerge naturally from interacting with the
sculpture and other instruments. Inês takes these movements and translates them to different environments that are projected onto the wall of the performance space. The images and the architecture found in the projections were chosen based on shapes found in the design of the
sculpture. Inês interacts with these environments, using the architectural shapes as inspiration for developing the movements.
