Önnu Jónu Son releases his latest single and video for the song Take These Bones on November 3rd. The single is from the upcoming album The Radio Won’t Let Me Sleep coming out later this year.
The song is about the artist’s muscle dystrophy and its effect on him. Feeling trapped in a body that keeps failing him and wanting to escape from that prison.
The video was recorded in Brazil and shows the artist as well as veteran Brazilian actors in intimate settings. It was directed by local artist Gregorio Graziosi.
A B-side on the single is I Shall Be Released, originally written and performed by Bob Dylan.
