A work-in-progress screening of “OMG… it’s a MIRACLE !“, a documentary about Icelandic composers. Produced by Sigurjón Sighvatsson (Twin Peaks, Beverly Hills 90210) and directed by Ari Alexander Egis Magnússon, it’s a spiritual sequel to the latter’s film “Screaming Masterpiece”. The piece presented at RIFF focuses on Gyða Valtýsdóttir and her release concert at Harpa for her album “Epicycle II”, which won the Nordic Council Music Prize 2019.
