Bára Gísladóttir – VÍDDIR

for nine flutes, percussion trio, bass guitar & double bass Dur. 60′

VÍDDIR is an hour long piece composed specifically for the unique acoustics for Grundtvigs Kirke on the occasion of Bára’s graduation from the advanced postgraduate diploma program at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. The players are divided into three groups (flutes vs. NEKO3 vs. Bára & Skúli) that all contribute to a common dimensional goal.
