Critics have described the music of Gunnar Andreas Kristinsson as magnificent poetry and praised the composer’s fresh and bold imagination. As a freelance composer Gunnar Andreas has over the last decade developed his own musical language inspired by Icelandic folk music, Indian rhythms and fractal geometry. With the release of Patterns curious listeners get a chance to explore five different solo pieces by Gunnar Andreas for either piano or organ along with a three movement duo for viola and organ.
